Atekichi’s fantasy comedy, starring a maid with magical powers, will have an animated adaptation under the label of EMT Squared.

The story follows Melody Wave, a Japanese girl who is reincarnated in another world with only one goal: to become the best servant in the kingdom. Far from fighting for love or saving the world, Melody prefers to clean mansions, brew tea, and fix ruined castles with her powerful magic. The original novel began publication in Shōsetsuka ni Narō in February 2017, and TO Books began its print edition in March 2020. The seventh volume of the novel and the sixth volume of the manga will be available this Thursday, May 9.
