Yunosuke Yoshinaga returns with a series full of action and magic set in a mysterious world.
The renowned author Yunosuke Yoshinaga, famous for his work Break Blade, prepares his return with a new manga titled Mahō Kikai Ningen (Magic Mechanical Human). This has been confirmed by Hakusensha’s Young Animal Zero magazine in its 34th issue, announcing that the series will debut in the next edition that will come out on July 9.
A fantasy story in an enigmatic world
The publication has advanced that it is an action and fantasy story set in a universe full of mysteries and supernatural elements, which promises a visual and intriguing approach in the purest Yoshinaga style. Although not many plot details have yet been revealed, fans of the author are already speculating about possible thematic connections with his previous works.
The Legacy of Break Blade
The author became widely known for his work Break Blade (Broken Blade), a manga that began publication in 2007 and concluded in 2022 with a total of 20 compilation volumes. Initially published by Flex Comix, the series later moved to G-mode’s Comic Meteor portal.
The story inspired a saga of six films between 2010 and 2011, licensed in North America by Sentai Filmworks. It was later adapted into a 12-episode television series that aired in April 2014, including never-before-seen scenes. Although an additional OVA was planned, the project was canceled in 2016.
With his return to the pages of Young Animal Zero, Yoshinaga promises to dazzle again with his signature style and ability to build complex and visually powerful worlds. Mahō Kikai Ningen is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated proposals of the summer.
